Finders Keepers... (Losers Weepers?)

With much excitement (and more than a few nerves), we are very proud to announce our inclusion in the next Sydney Finders Keepers Markets, to be held on the 31st May/1st June.

To say Justin and I are overwhelmed is an understatement!

We are both working day jobs, and heading into the school holidays, will have our small person here for two weeks.

How on earth will we have enough stock made...? It's times like this I kind of wish we outsourced... But really, it's not the Goggles way. Each piece we make, we actually physically make, so outsourcing is not really an option at this stage.

Maybe that could be part of the business plan... When we get around to writing one :/

new product photography...

An enormously HUGE thank you to Etsy Australia for helping our Goggles shop along, with some amazing professional photography by none other than author and all-round great photo lady Heidi Adnum!

The shoot was at The School's Small Studio - a really lovely space with outstanding light.

(Sorry for the photos Heidi, I know you don't like being filmed!! I've cropped you out enough I hope!)

Heidi's excellent shots can be seen on our newly updated Etsy shop, and to celebrate our new look, we've changed our prices to give you Free Shipping within Australia...

I can't help showing a couple of the shots here though, they're just SO DARN GREAT!!

Please note, the shots above are by me, but these three below are by the lovely Heidi.

Thanks Heidi, Jennie and Amanda for all your expert advice.

a little give-away...

Ok lovely people... drum roll please!!

Tomorrow, Saturday the 9 March, My Very Own Eye Goggles will be featured on the Temple and Webster blog... gasp! I'm so excited I really don't know how I'm going to get to sleep tonight...

To celebrate, and to encourage you to trundle on over there and make a comment, I'm going to pick one lucky commenter on the Temple and Webster blog post tomorrow.

The more comments and better response they get to their story, the more likely it is that we'll be invited to have a sale with them! Whew... my hands are aching already just thinking about all that hooking...

Simply make a comment and you'll be in the running to win one of these lovely jute twine crocheted trivets, handmade by me! You can have your pick of the trim colours shown above...

If you'd like to increase your chances, you can gain extra entries by liking our Facebook page, or following us on Instagram...

We'll draw a winner on Tuesday 12 March, so get clicking!

And by the way, thank you for supporting small, independent, handmade craft businesses!

PS Thankyou too to the amazing Heidi Adnum who took these gorgeous photos, and to Etsy for making them happen.
