a little adjustment...

Rahmann Design's new-look website

So, it's about time my craft practice became "officially" integrated within my interior design business...

Craft and making things has become such an important part of my creative process over the last few years, that it's nearly impossible to separate it from my day to day work flow...

After a really great chit chat and general catchup with some valued friends, I decided it was time to give my craft practice the position it deserves within my business.

My interest in hand-making objects and installations is about to go large...

So, large design practices, developers, restauranteurs, hoteliers, people-with-large-houses, if you're reading, I can hand-make you an AMAZING site-specific craft-work. Just contact me for more information.

mystery stones...

Mysterious cairns have been popping up along the beachfront over the last couple of months...

Some Andy Goldsworthy fan has made some really lovely stone towers from the beautiful stones which collect along the coastline.

The coast is so inspiring here, and whenever I feel a bit flat or just blergh, a walk along the dramatic beachfront will always clear my mental cobwebs... Especially on a spectacular Autumn day like today.

My local sea pool - home to the Coledale Oysters, a group of (slightly eccentric!) all-year-round swimmers. It's a great hang in summer, set on a rock platform which is under water at high tide, so you have to wade out to the pool.

Now back to the computer!!
